The Nose Knows is a conceptual board game inspired by dark fairy tales, designed to explore themes of deception and strategy. Players take on roles as characters trapped in an enchanted forest, with some secretly cursed to stop others from escaping. Through lies, accusations, and clever gameplay, players must uncover the truth—but each lie causes their nose to grow, adding a visual twist inspired by Pinocchio.
As a conceptual board game project, the design process focused on creating immersive visuals and unique mechanics that mirror the game's dark, whimsical narrative. From developing the forest-themed board to designing character cards and interactive components, every detail was crafted to enhance the experience of bluffing and deduction.

Design Process
For *The Nose Knows*, my design process began with developing a concept that blended dark fairy tales with deception mechanics similar to *Mafia*, where players must lie to win. I wanted the physical consequence of lying—like a growing nose—to be central, adding a visual twist to the gameplay. The visual design drew inspiration from gothic, enchanted settings, featuring intricate illustrations of castles, forests, and 3D typography to evoke a whimsical yet dark tone. I carefully designed the game components to fit the narrative, ensuring that every element—from the board to the tokens—immersed players in this twisted fairy-tale world.
